  1. You should have a call light within reach at all times.

  2. The average call light rings for 4 minutes before being answered.

  3. All employees are expected to answer any call light. You should not have to wait for your nurse.

  4. Items like urinals, call lights and drinking water/food should be left within your reach always.

  5. Before you go for a test, you should be offered a chance to use the restroom.

  6. Everyone should ask if there is anything they can do for you just before they leave the room.

  7. You should meet the department leader at least once during your stay.
